Our Company had been enforcing the below preventive measures to defend against COVID-19:

  1. Provide face masks to our employees and require donning of face masks during the entire working hours.
  2. Provide hand sanitizers for disinfection.
  3. Require strict enforcement of social distancing of 6 feet apart for all employees.
  4. Require all employees to take lunch breaks in their own vehicles.
  5. Take body temperature of every person entering the warehouse every day. Refuse entry to anyone with abnormal body temperature.
  6. Require all employees to fill out family health status surveys every day.

What can I do to help stop the spread of COVID-19?

  1. Stay in safe environment except for essential needs/activities.
  2. Practice social distancing – stay 6 feet away from people.
  3. Wear a face mask if you leave home.
  4. Frequently wash hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
  5. Clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces daily.

Can I contract COVID-19 from food?

It is highly unlikely that people can contract COVID-19 from food or food packaging. COVID-19 is a respiratory illness and the primary transmission route is through person-to- person contact and through direct contact with respiratory droplets generated when an infected person coughs or sneezes.

How does COVID-19 spread?

The virus is thought to spread mainly by human-to-human transmission, within 6 feet of distance of two people, through respiratory droplets produced by the infected when he/she coughs, sneezes or talks. These droplets could land in the mouths or noses of the others who are nearby and possibly be inhaled into their lungs.
